Varla Sydney Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to love every Varla piece you order. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase — this helps ensure a smooth and transparent experience.


Change of Mind, Sizing & Order Mistakes

Please choose carefully and check all product details and size charts before placing your order.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

  • change of mind,

  • incorrect sizing or fit,

  • ordering multiple sizes to try on, or

This is in line with Australian Consumer Law, which does not require refunds for change of mind or sizing where items are supplied as described and in good condition.

However, in certain cases, we may offer to ship an alternative size if stock is available — provided that:

  • the customer covers the shipping cost for the replacement.

This is handled on a case-by-case basis and subject to approval by our customer care team.


Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • faulty,

  • damaged on arrival, or

  • not as described,

we’ll make it right with a replacement or refund, as required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order, including:

  • your order number,

  • clear photos of the issue, and

  • a short description of the problem.

We’ll review your case promptly and provide instructions for return or replacement.


Returns Process (if eligible)

If your return has been approved for a faulty or incorrect item:

  1. We’ll provide a return form and return address.

  2. Items must be returned in original, unworn condition with all packaging and tags attached.

  3. Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund or replacement will be processed within 5–10 business days.

We recommend using tracked postage for all returns to ensure safe delivery.


Return Shipping Costs

  • If an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect due to our error, Varla Sydney will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

  • For any other cases (e.g. sizing exchange requests), the customer is responsible for re-shipping costs.


Sale Items & Promotions

All sale and promotional items — including those purchased with discount codes or special offers — are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.


Refund Timeframes

Approved refunds are processed via your original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
